Tessa Alleblas

Tessa Alleblas specializes in international law, human rights and international criminal law.
From 2012-2017 she worked as a Researcher and Project Coordinator for a Hague-based think tank on issues related to the Responsibility to Protect, mass atrocity prevention, and the peace-justice nexus with a specific focus on the impact of the International Criminal Court in Kenya. Tessa holds a master’s degree in International and European Public Law from Tilburg University, and a master’s degree in International Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam.

At the Asia Centre Tessa will contribute to the assessment of the Universal Periodic Review of the UN Human Rights Council and its impact on the protection of human rights in Southeast Asia.
